Hell Behind the Wheel 3D (3D Angry Drive)
Lussier-Farmer The pair had already made it clear Bloody Valentine ( review) that were a couple of care as a class B tripe meant, and now that 3D seized by the horns. With Hell Behind the Wheel have uploaded a couple of steps further and have been completely overwhelmed with an action movie grotesque and exaggerated.
early scenes and make it clear where the shots go here (pun intended): chases cars at full speed, shooting, a Nicholas Cage implacable enemies tearing limb from limb, much blood and objects flying in the face of the viewer. And that was just the first scene. The aim of John Milton is back to his granddaughter from a gang of crazy satanic, and will not stop it (almost) nothing to achieve their goal.
Much of the film is a road movie brainless and full of lead and blood, in which one by one the obstacles with which Milton and his companion found Piper shift, but for the fantastic twist that occurs midway through the film (so far, the unsuspecting audience did not read the synopsis and saw a trailer well think that this is a revenge movie running), things would could be a little less tacky than it turned out to be. But of course, taking into account the fact that Todd Farmer also wrote Jason X, anything is possible.
Actually, Nicholas Cage is at full speed. Is in a tailspin lately with the roles he chooses, but curiously the profile for the main character in the movie belongs to him only and only a role fully decaffeinated very bad milk: without him would have been anything bad, because the film already is anything, Series B. His female counterpart is Amber Heard, who appears as beautiful as foul-mouthed and the destination for those things yet to be swept away to Hollywood and this is their largest letter at the time. I hope we get the doors open more often. In other equally important roles are William Fichtner as the Accountant, a mysterious character crosses the T-1000 with a Man in Black who steals the film with her appearances, and Billy Burke as the head of the clan Satanist, unhappy and mad as could be shot.
As film entirely made in 3D, the Volante Hell fulfilling its purpose. The digital aspect Lussier is impressive and feels like shooting fish in water with these cameras, is gradually shown that it is a good director, very good director and editor. The depth is noted sharp and almost palpable, and the moments 'you-throw-this-thing-to-face' continue to function very well, if done well, of course.
Alas, more blood, guts, gunshot wounds and explosions that have your movie, even within the madness that is the film itself, all aspects must be taken care of. And if in one aspect the movie fails, is to make use convincing CGI effects. Already in the trailer you could see when they threw an ax and Cage's character was horrible, well, the film is not so ugly but it is still rare. Also, the climax of this neglect is the death of a character near the end of the movie that really made me doubt whether truth was so horrible as I had just seen: indeed, I was a autoinsulto to the film.
On another side of the film, I must say that the composer Michael Wandmacher continues to surprise me, as it did in Bloody Valentine and Piranha 3D : original music and soundtrack are well grindhouse and add a perfect accent to the proposal which means the film.
al Volante Hell might have worked better at the box office if not spent so much on the line in self-parody and had dropped a couple of changes (still with jokes automovilísiticas) At the end , it feels as if the film speed had passed (well, the last joke I do!) and on the road, had lost the audience that came to bear the festival destructive. I hope that if the pair eventually comes to realize 3D Halloween (other than Condition Dead 3D Hellraiser and ) does not move from mambo.

" Jotunheimen, 1976. Stehøe mountain hotel is on the verge of bankruptcy after several suspicious of strange events. Without knowing for sure if your child is behind these unexplained events, the couple regentea the hotel takes the drastic step of locking their son in the basement. But one day something happened that moved the family forever. The official story says the boy fell into a crevasse while playing outside, and that their parents were trapped by an avalanche while looking for him. Is it true?
Now a group of friends discover the awful truth behind the mystery. "
In 2006 and 2008, Norway raised his hand in class and slasher , taking the most banal conventions of the subgenre and moving a little place cards, managed to make a movie and a sequel worthy of being recognized even in America, land of the genre par excellence and unfortunately at the same time. Fritt Vilt ( review ) and Fritt Vilt II ( review) could be safely followed with huge pieces of the iconic Halloween ( review) and original Halloween II, and who wander the same paths in history.
The story could not be further concluded by the end of the second part so that, when you can not move forward, what better way to go back to the origins of the murderer? Enter Fritt Vilt III, horrible title for the prequel ("" do you not see that it is a third installment but a prequel??)
This time, before all the misfortune Jannicke and his friends in this, we jump to 1976, which is told in a brief prologue to the history of the family who lived in the hotel, the couple and their son who has apparently caused the hotel comes down in bankruptcy . The reasons? No, only distilled the boy is cursed (something like Samara in The Ring ) and so their non-parent (at one point he yells I'm not your father!) It holds in the basement. For this, the boy takes revenge knife.
jumped 12 years, the police never found the boy or his family, and were written off in an avalanche. Now, a group of six boys embark on a weekend, ready to spend a night in the hotel. For this or that question, do not and end up camping in a forest. From that moment, one by one will fall prey to this murderer.
are the typical young carefree as ever, the classic stereotype, but the biggest problem is that there are Jannicke and friends. As a prequel, we all know to where the end points (rarely changes the course of a prequel, and this is not the case) and, at most, the order of the deaths were altered a bit, but this group is one-dimensional and clearly can predict who will be the final girl, but at some point be apparent otherwise. Ida Marie Bakkerud does a good job as Hedda, the heroine, but she did not even reach the heels Berdal Ingrid Bag, appears indisputable whole saga. His teammates do what they can, but are mere caricatures painted in oil and effortlessly.
Being able to add two plus two, if the murderer disappeared at age 11, and spent the first 12 to slaughter, and logical law of life should be 23 years, so why come to like a guy in his thirties? Go ask the writers, which is hardly surprising and worried much less attention. The deaths of the first were nothing unusual, and the second delivery charge of correcting that, now, back to point zero, zero originality in the deaths, a little surprise in the order, again, but little interest .
should be noted, of course, the incredible work of photography that has the movie: beautiful landscapes are devastating, and now with this summer / spring show, retracts a bit of chill factor that had been presented as a concept for the plot, but also presents a different scenario. Much to my regret, is the only aspect that stands out completely from the film.
Fritt Vilt III is an unnecessary prequel that serves no purpose other than catalog of trips to Norway, his immensely beautiful landscapes are the only outstanding feature of this passage delivery that knows little and adds nothing to the mythology of the saga, of course, already dead. Or not?
